A steering wheel, an open road, and a low gleam from the moon are all one needs in order to reach a sense of euphoria. I frequently drive late at night, and when I do, I let my mind roam free. In a sort of zoned-out state, I think over my life, my wants, my needs, and my future. This book of poetry is an attempt to capture and collect all of the many wonders our minds create in the midst of a moonlit drive.

America is home to many groups of individuals who are plenty diverse from others. Within that diverseness lies confusion. People confuse one culture for another and so on. But, more than any other group, the broad body of young men in this country are the most confused at this moment. From the very young men in such body rebuke themselves to the media proclaiming their opinions invalid, young men are amidst a swirling storm of falsehoods and disservice. Monaghan discusses all factors that contribute to this storm and the precautions needed to quench its strength as well as guide our young men into becoming the participatory leaders of tomorrow.
